“Building Peace” -Central Asia Institute

This video was very inspirational. It opened up my eyes by seeing what really goes on in other countries, and how grateful I am to live in the United States. The women in this video are not really treated equal to man like how the women are in the United States. These women are not that well educated. Most of their education level is equal to a fifth grader. The men want the women to know basic knowledge such as, they shouldn’t overpopulate with babies, and that they should know the basic health standards. These women eventually learn how to sew, and are able to make clothes and such, to help support their family.

  1. I must mention that there is some women who are not treated equally in the United States. There is still some cases where it is very hard for a woman to get a high paying job, and with it including negative criticizism towards them.

  2. Education should be a right for everyone. There should be no reason why people are not getting education. And woman are always fighting because they have a harder time than a guy to be respected and provided with a same opportunity to demonstrate their skills. Is important that girls are educated because at the end they are the ones with the most beautiful talent of all, the miracle of giving life.

  3. This was a great contribution that the man did because with out helping out the people in need would not have an education and it is great for all the people to have the same education as everyone.

  4. And to think that it all started with a little promise that he made to these children without really thinking he would actually do it. We have to be thankful for what we have, and not take things for granted. There are others who have less than what we do and yet they are happy.

  5. I think it's so amazing how this man is changing so many lives. We take so much for granted, always complaining about school and how much homework we have, yet these children yearn for an education like ours. This movement opened my eyes and made me realize so much about their country and about how well we have our lives here in the U.S.
